Fashion photographer, artist and filmmaker Denny Glow
brings together photography, illustration and cinematic
storytelling in his exploration of feminine beauty.
His creative journey began with drawing characters,
developing stories and discovering the visual world
of fashion magazines. These early influences eventually
led him toward filmmaking and photography.
Working in Southern California at the time of his
original statement, primarily around Orange County
and Los Angeles, Glow approaches photographing women
through a combination of fashion, artistic expression
and personal storytelling.
His work reflects an appreciation of feminine beauty,
exploring different photographic genres and visual
styles, from raw and poetic imagery to fashion-inspired
model photography.
ARTIST STATEMENT
DENNY GLOW
I’m an Artist, Fashion Photographer & Filmmaker.
I’ve always loved drawing characters and writing
and creating stories.Whenever I’d draw and illustrate women,
I’d look through my mother’s fashion magazines,
and soon enough, I was collecting my own
to look at beautiful women and fashion.Before I knew it, I was using my father’s camcorder
to direct stories with my friends and siblings.
My aunt, who is an award winning photographer,
gave me one of her Pentax film cameras and
I started shooting film through out middle
school and high school.Currently, I shoot in Southern California,
in Orange County primarily, as well as in LA.When photographing women, my vision is to
showcase them as Goddesses, beautiful creations
of God, in many different stories and variations.Whether raw, and poetic, or through fashion,
I enjoy working in many different genres and styles.
