Al Anochecer photography captures the quiet transition from daylight into evening through an analogue portrait series created in Lima, Peru. Photographer Geoffrey Yahya Vargas works with model Estefanía Cox to shape a warm, cinematic study of a woman, natural light and atmosphere.

Analogue Portraits at Dusk

Photographed with a Minolta analogue camera on Portra 800 film, the series uses grain, colour and fading light as part of its visual language. Rather than treating the setting as a backdrop, the images connect the model with the changing mood of the city and the intimate feeling of the hour after sunset.
