Fabrizia Aliquò by Francesco Chilà
Photographer Francesco Chilà presents Fabrizia Aliquò in a black and white model photography editorial created during a hot August afternoon in Southern Italy.
Photographed at a private villa in Reggio Calabria, the series was conceived around heat, pool water and natural movement, with Chilà deliberately avoiding forced model poses.
The project was created to evoke a hot afternoon in August in Southern Italy, with the pool providing relief from the heat. Rather than directing Fabrizia into fixed poses, Chilà wanted to photograph only what happened naturally.
Francesco Chilà is a photographer from Reggio Calabria who studied Visual Arts. His interest in art history and the great portrait photographers of the past strongly influenced his photographic approach, including his preference for working almost exclusively in black and white.
Fabrizia Aliquò is also from Reggio Calabria. At the time of the shoot she was studying engineering full time and modeling in her leisure time.
